What are STIs?

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are infections that spread through sexual contact. They are very common, and anyone who is sexually active can be at risk.

How Do I Know If I Have One?

The truth is, you may not always know. Some STIs are “silent” and don’t show symptoms until they’ve caused complications. However, some common signs may include:

  • Clear, white, greenish, or yellowish
  • vaginal discharge
  • Strong vaginal odor
  • Itching or irritation inside the vagina
  • Painful urination
  • Pelvic pain
  • Spotting between periods

Even if you don’t have symptoms, it’s still possible to have an STI. Getting tested protects your health and helps prevent long-term issues.
